Shannon Zollo, Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton (Corporate Law)

Shannon is a partner at the corporate law firm of Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton where his practice includes representing private and public companies in a variety of securities and corporate matters. Shannon also acts as counsel to emerging growth companies, private equity and venture capital firms, and manufacturing and service firms within the high technology and life sciences industries. As the former general counsel of a venture-backed company, Shannon has substantial experience advising executive management on a wide range of domestic and  international legal and business issues, icluding transactional negotiations, debt and equity financings, licensing and protection of intellectual property, corporate governance, leasing and subleasing, import/export compliance, immigration, executive compensation, and employment/labor matters.

John Galini, Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton (Immigration Law)

John Galini's concentration is in Immigration and Nationality Law. John's practice  covers all facets of employment-based immigration, as well as family immigration and naturalization. Hehas in-depth experience providing strategic immigration advice and counsel to both small entrepreneurial businesses and multinational corporations. He is also nationally recognized for his expertise in obtaining Permanent Residence for scientists, athletes, artists, scholars and business executives under the Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, Multinational Manager/Executive, and National Interest Waiver categories. John has been practicing Immigration and Nationality Law exclusively since 1991.

Todd Ellis, DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLC (Accounting)

Todd has worked in the field of public accounting for more than 13 years and before joining DiCicco, Gulman and Company, LLP, he owned his own firm. Todd specializes in helping companies, both foreign and domestic, comply with the myriad of tax rules throughout the United States including the numerous state and local tax jurisdictions. He is also proficient in explaining the tax ramifications of bringing employees to the United States so that both employer and employee can be prepared in advance for an overseas move. From Europe to Asia and South America, Todd has serviced and continues to serve clients in a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing, software, and professional services. In addition to tax planning and compliance, Todd can assist with the implementation of accounting and internal control systems, cash flow budgeting and financial statement services such as audits.

Originally from the state of New Jersey, Brian has spent the last 7 years living & working in the Boston area. After graduating with a business degree from the University of Vermont in 2002, Brian has worked in a sales & management capacity throughout my career. For the last 3 years, Brian has been fortunate enough to be a sales consultant for Paychex. Paychex is the industry leader for small business payroll & benefits solutions with over 500,000 clients nationwide. Brian enjoys working directly with the small business community as he is able to watch his clients grow and reach their true potential

Peter Burch, William Gallagher Associates (Insurance)

Peter Burch is an Account Executive at William Gallagher Associates (WGA) and a member of WGA’s Property and Casualty Group, working with emerging high technology and life sciences companies. He acts as an outsourced Risk Manager advising his clients on risk mitigation tactics, contract review, regulatory compliance, and risk transfer options. Peter works with these companies to design, execute and administer insurance programs that include Directors’; Officers’ Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Product Liability, and Professional Liability. His focus is on developing risk management and insurance solutions for a variety of Intellectual Property risks, and is familiar with the latest developments in this complex area for many tech and life sciences firms. Peter is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He holds his Massachusetts Property; Casualty Brokers’ License and is actively pursuing his Associates in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Peter an active member of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge and Ultra Light Startups Forum. He also is involved with Deloitte Tech Venture Center (TVC) in Waltham, where he provides professional support to newly launched and emerging technology companies.

Caitlin Delaney, William Gallagher Associates (Insurance)

Caitlin is an Account Manager at William Gallagher Associates (WGA) and a member of the Property and Casualty Group specializing in high technology. Her focus over the past three years on servicing clients’ day-to-day needs exemplifies WGA’s values and has quickly earned her a promotion from assistant account management to account management. Caitlin looks to provide constructive advice to emerging technology companies whose fast growth pattern often leaves them exposed to new risks. Many of these companies find her advice to be invaluable. Caitlin joined WGA after graduating from Stonehill College in 2006. She currently holds her Massachusetts Brokers’ License and is pursuing her Associates in Risk Management (ARM) designation. Growing up in Cornwall, NY she currently resides in Boston. Caitlin enjoys utilizing her free time to travel. She is an avid sports fan and a member of WGA’s softball team.
